Determine your system size
requirements by totaling one year of electrical usage (kWh/yr).
You can get this information by calling the utility company and
asking for a 12 month history. Once you have totaled your usage,
you can then look at eliminating your entire consumption or just
the highest tiers of cost. That's typically everything above the
Baseline allotment. You will find your baseline allotment on
your electric bill. Baseline quantities will very by rate
structure, season and location.
